• Account info: display name, sex, city, age (optional), bio (optional), profile photo
• Location: approximate GPS coordinates, used for proximity-based feed
• Content: posts, messages, reactions
• Device info: device ID, push notification token, platform (iOS)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Show posts from nearby users (location-based feed)
• Match users based on interests (text embeddings -- anonymized, no personal data sent)
• Deliver push notifications
• Content moderation (automated quality checks)
• Reputation scoring (based on post quality and engagement)

3. Third-Party Services

• Apple / Google: authentication only
• OpenAI: generates anonymous text embeddings from profiles and posts (no personal identifiers sent, only text content)
• Google Gemini: classifies post quality (content only, no personal data)
• Firebase (Google): push notifications via device tokens
• ImageServe: avatar image hosting

4. Data Retention

• Posts expire after 24 hours and are permanently deleted
• Messages retained until conversation is deleted or account is deleted
• Account data retained until user requests deletion

5. Your Rights

• Delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete Account)
• Account deletion removes all your data (posts, messages, profile)
• No data is sold to third parties
• No advertising, no tracking

6. Location Data

• Used solely for proximity-based post discovery
• Stored as approximate coordinates (not exact address)
• Not shared with other users (only used for feed ranking)

7. Children's Privacy

Moonrise is not intended for users under 17.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Continued use of Moonrise after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
