1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Moonrise, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Moonrise. By using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. User Conduct

You are responsible for all content you post on Moonrise. The following are prohibited:

• Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of other users
• Hate speech or discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or other protected characteristics
• Spam, advertising, or repetitive unsolicited content
• Illegal content or content promoting illegal activities
• Impersonation of other individuals or entities

Posts are automatically screened for quality at creation time. Low-quality or harmful content may be rejected before it reaches other users.

4. Content

• Posts are public and visible to nearby users for up to 24 hours, after which they are permanently deleted
• Messages are private between conversation participants
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms

5. Moderation

• Automated content quality screening is performed at post creation
• Users can report content or other users through the in-app reporting system
• Accounts may be temporarily or permanently banned after receiving reports from multiple users
• Users can block other users to prevent further interaction

6. Account Termination

• You can delete your account at any time from Settings
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Account deletion removes all associated data, including posts, messages, and profile information

7. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of all content you create on Moonrise
• By posting content, you grant Moonrise a limited license to display your content to other users for the duration the content exists (up to 24 hours for posts)

8. Disclaimers

• Moonrise is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We are not responsible for content posted by users
• Service availability is not guaranteed and may be interrupted for maintenance or other reasons

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Moonrise and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Moonrise after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
